We provided new LC Fiber connectors on both ends as well as a bulkhead that was specific to the Panduit fiber tray that the customer already had installed. Our goal at Politon is first and foremost to provide a solution that works for our customers, and often that means working with what is already onsite and making use of the resources our customers provide. In the Demarc, we provided a wall-mount Corning Fiber box with an appropriate 6 port bulkhead. The customer is moving forward with 2nd and 3rd phases of the IT infrastructure installation and we are happy to work with them to meet their needs.

Summit Electric Supply in Irving, Texas, asked us to investigate problems they were having with their data cabling. Many of the 148 drops in their office area were not working properly. We tested each drop with the Fluke DSX-5000 cable certifier. Out of the 148, 114 passed, 15 failed, and 19 had no connectivity between the jack in the data room and the jack in the office. We corrected all the issues by finding a match for the missing connections while labeling the office jacks with the corresponding data room jack.

Summit Electric Supply, located in Irving, Texas, needed additional security cameras installed. We pulled new cable to the two camera installations in the warehouse. We rerouted existing cable from the office area to the counter area for the third camera installation. When the cameras came online, we worked with the customer to adjust the view.

This new customer is building a new corporate headquarters and in the process, their fiber optic cable to their building was cut in two twice. We received this call about 4:00 pm on a Tuesday evening and we couldn't make it there until about 8:30 pm. Once we arrived we assessed the situation and got to work. We completed the temporary repair by 11:30 pm allowing them to make payroll with their internet access the next morning until the phone company can run a new fiber from the pole to their building. The customer was very happy and gave us a fiber star review as well.

We tested over 100 cables and finished out a lot of cables that had been pulled out of cubicles in a new office reconfiguration.

We cabled the new lab for GreyStone Laboratories. We pulled 13 cables and installed a Leviton Quick Disconnect 24 Port Patch Panel. We also provided a 24 port Netgear POE switch. The customer was extremely happy with the final result. This customer called us from the internet and needed a cabling vendor that could meet him when he flew in town from Florida. We where happy to help at his new Irving, Tx location.
