Why did the customer contact us?

The customer contacted us when he noticed that one of his APs had gone down in the office portion of the Mondi Groups' Dallas warehouse. He needed a technician in the field to diagnose and address the issue.

Solutions provided:

After arriving on-site, our technician tested the cable with our Fluke DSX-5000 tester. The test result confirmed that the cable met the appropriate standards. To remove any doubt, the technician replaced both ends of the data cable and even replaced the patch cord to cover all points of failure. After a second test, our technician again confirmed that the cable was properly functional. With this information, the customer was able to determine that the issue stemmed from a switch port issue, and the problem was quickly resolved.
